Kates Royal Wedding Gown

Here is some (a little late) lovely pictures of Kate Middleton - now The Duchess of Cambridge - in her beautiful wedding gown.

I think she looked lovely in her lace/satin gown. It is designed by Sarah Burton, for Alexander McQueens fashion house. A very modern and stylish choice for her. The gown suits her little beautiful body well - with the tight corset bodice, long sleeves, and the fuller skirt. Some details of the dress may have been inspired by Grace Kelly's amazing wedding gown.

The gown is made of French Chantilly lace and English Cluny lace throughout the bodice, skirt and underskirt. The dress is made of ivory and white satin. The back of the dress was finished with 58 gazar and organza covered buttons. The train measures about 2,5 meter/9 feet long.
The veil is made of silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers. It is held in place by a Cartier "halo" tiara, lent to Middleton by Queen Elizabeth II.
The earrings, which were made to match the tiara, were a personal gift to Middleton from her parents for her wedding day.

Beautiful bride - tiara, veil, earnings, bouquet, dress <3

Kate with her sister at bridesmade, holding the long veil.

The bridesmaid and the flower girls looked lovely as well. The maid dress was a lovely Alexander McQeen, and the little flower girls dresses was Nicki Macfarlan. They looked so sweet and beautiful with the flowers in their hair.

Katys Magical dress

I loove the dress that Katy Perry wore to the 2011 People Choice Awards - an amazing purple and baby blue "fairy like" Betsey Johnson spring dress. I really like how she styled it - with pink Casadei peep-toes, turquoise nails and her beautiful black hair & soft make-up <3 Love when woman dare to dress like a real princess ;)

Current Obsessions

These Christmas and New Years days I love funny, funky and lovely things - All that glitters - have great Colours - are Fun - or just really Feminine.

These stockings can be cool, feminine and fun! You can get them in all different price ranges  and styles - to fin your personal style. (And they are a great alternative to a tattoo if you don't want a real one)

I just Love these "old-school-pc-games"  ties! I have to find out were to buy them - and get my boyfriend one :) They can make any boring suit look fun and inter interesting.
One of my new favourite perfumes <3 Royal Desire from Christina Aguilera Perfumes is a really feminine, but spicy (not too sweet) perfume - and just it's design is fantastic beautiful! Every perfume size comes with a different little silver charm- that you for example can use in a necklace.

There are so many cool sunglasses out there right now - and sunglasses are always a good accessory.  But these new types of sunglasses - makes a whole new type of accessory! Weather they are made of gold with flower holes, with lace print or with chains hanging down - they are stylish and gives some cool attention!

As you know I love different nail colours and styles. And this deep purple one with silver glitter is Amazing! Just waow.

I found this amazing skeleton/spinal-cord black dress - it may be a little scary for some. But I think its awesome! On the front its just a normal little black dress - but the on the back - its detailed,  funky  and interesting.

Unique, crazy and beautiful wedding dresses

The people who know me, knows that I love dresses. All kinds of dresses! So, I have found some dresses – wedding dresses – but not the ones you would normally see. These are unique and crazy but still beautiful.

Would you wear one of them?

This one just has it all - a corset, blondes, pearls, glitter and ruffles.

This is very colorfull and princess like - but oh so Beautiful.
Big but simple.

With real flowers.

I think this one is made by paper.

A peacock feather gown. Amazing.

Fun, unique, sexy and pretty.

Dita Von Teses' big beautiful and purple wedding dress.

Don't know what this veil is made of, but it look very fragile. Beautiful.

Very romanic, with a big veil, tulle, flowers and silk.

Look what I found – a coloring dress

I just found this article about a designer who has made a dress you can color yourself! And while you are wearing it to.. Wonder where you can get that dress.

From the article:

“Remember those fun color-it-yourself books from your childhood? Sometimes they were color-by-number and other times, well, they invited you to simply pick your own color scheme (which some of us did with color-by-number books regardless). Taking this simple idea to a new level, one designer has come up with an idea to let people color their own dresses and other apparel. The “Colouring-Dress” is made from a black and white patterned fabric created to be colored-in at the whim of its wearer. The trio of  “Assembly-Dresses” were made to be stripped and deconstructed with a button system that allows the wearer to mix and match Schuurman’s intricately patterned textile.”
